Pakistan buys 340,000 tons of wheat on the world market

A government agency in Pakistan is said to have bought around 340,000 tons of wheat as part of an international tender, European traders announced on Monday.
Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) reportedly bought the wheat at an estimated price of $ 286.75 per ton of c & f. Final confirmation is still awaited.
The TCP was looking for wheat from optional worldwide origins and shipping must be organized so that the full volume arrives in Pakistan by March 31, 2021.
Pakistan has repeatedly sought wheat on the world market in the past few months in order to improve local supplies.
On November 6th, TCP bought around 320,000 tons of wheat as part of an international tender.
Dealers had already expected more purchases back then, as they were of the opinion that Pakistan's import needs had not yet been met.
