Importers from Pakistan bought last optional origin (U.S. Gulf Coast or Brazil) 50,000 tons of soybeans and Canadian canola, report to European traders.
The soybeans were purchased for delivery July/August.
Pakistan was in recent months of large buyer of soybeans, because the processing volumes increased domestic production of oil. In addition, imports was partially replaced by soybean imports of canola. You want to reduce the expensive imports of soya meal.
Canola was last purchased to supply in July for around $445 / ton c & f.
