Palm oil courses follow the soy rally at the CBoT

The prices of palm oil futures in Malaysia are rising by just under 2% today. This is supported by firmer soya oil courses at the CBoT. We are seeing a correction after a 3-year low.
The most traded October 18 date on Bursa Malaysia rises 1.76% to 2,201 ringgit / ton at the close of trading. Today, all maturities have traded 51,242 lots of a'25 tonnes of palm oil.
Exports rose 5% yoy in July.
Courses in the soybean complex on the CBoT rose about 2% yesterday and 0.8 to 1.9% today. The EU wants to buy more soybeans and products in the US to reduce its trade surplus.
Prices of soybean oil (+ 1%) and palm oil (+ 0.4%) in Chinese Dalian also rise.
