Palm oil futures are patchy this morning

The prices of palm oil futures at Bursa Malaysia fell by 0.2% until the lunch break there. In the coming weeks, palm oil production will rise seasonally.
The most-traded October 18-date went with a minus of 0.2% in the lunch break. Today, 17,469 lots of a'25 tonnes of palm oil derivatives have been traded.
Whether production is already increasing, however, the market participants disagree. Maybe the seasonal peak comes in the late Q4. However, the now revalued ringgit against the US dollar could continue to depress stock market prices.
Other vegetable oils are mixed this morning: on the CBoT, soybean oil futures prices are currently down 0.21%, while soybean oil derivatives in China's Dalian are rated 0.5% stronger. Palm oil futures on the Dalian rise 0.2%.
