Wheat futures in Paris started the weekend on Friday with a green sign. On the CBoT, wheat prices recorded significant price increases. For the front month, it went up $26.25 cents/bushel to $797.75 cents/bushel. In particular, the political difficulties between Russia and Ukraine fueled prices again on Friday. Above all, the fear of the outbreak of war and severely restricted export business is currently keeping market participants in suspense. In addition, the weather forecast for the US Midwest has deteriorated. Many growing areas could therefore receive significantly less rainfall than hoped for before the weekend.
