With rates about 22 €/ dt, the April 17 futures contract on processing potatoes listed stable since late last week at a high level. This reflects the expectation for the Vermarktungssaison on high prices in Holland, Belgium and France. There, the potatoes mature now early on, so that hardly any gains are expected. In France it is estimated a smaller yields at the end of 10%, since expanded the area by 5%, the amount of crop remains 5% below the previous year then there probably. Income, which only slightly below last year's result, what possibly is compensated by the extension of cultivation expanded by 1.5% is expected in Holland.
