The Euronext wheat closed yesterday's trading day with mixed signs. The front month recorded a price increase of EUR 0.50/ton to EUR 326.00/ton. Likewise, wheat contracts on the Chicago Stock Exchange did not find a unified direction. After trading was mainly characterized by bearish impulses, it went into the profit zone shortly before the end of the day. The focus is still on the protests in China and the concern that export business could suffer as a result. Meanwhile, Canada's wheat production forecast is eagerly awaited. The general market expectation is that production will increase by 100,000 tons to 34.8 million tons.
