Last weekend, it rained in parts of southern Russia. This decreases the risk of drought, in the heartland of Russian wheat exports. In the last week, it was reported that it was too hot and too dry in Krasnodar, Rostov and Volgograd. Experts of the hydro-met Center see currently no major problems for the upcoming grain harvest.
While hailstorms, locally and elsewhere also even no rain fell, the affected areas are but not particularly great.
