Yesterday, the prices of CBoT wheat futures declined significantly, because in the US Plains rain is announced, from which the winter grain can still benefit there after a long drought.
The weather services announce a relaxation of the weather and the crop yields can recover. Demand on the world market for wheat is weak, however, and a firm US dollar is not very helpful in terms of sales.
Rainy weather is pushing down prices for cereals.
On Monday, the stock market price still benefited from a positive interim result of talks between China and the US. The trade dispute has a break and the two superpowers are working on a broader trade agreement.
