The soy complex has come under significant pressure just before the weekend. The May date fell $35.50 US cents/bushel and thus costs the equivalent of 526.86 euros/ton. Above all, the forecast expansion of the soybean acreage ensures the leadership of the bears. An increase of 4% to 90.955 million acres is expected. In addition, the improved weather forecast for this week caused a subdued mood. The USDA confirmed that around 174 million soybeans were processed in February, disappointing most analysts. At the same time, however, the result was 10 million bushels above the previous year's level.
