Rapeseed prices still in red

The November date on the Euronext/Matif fell by EUR 5.50 per tonne yesterday, the closing price was EUR 458.25 per tonne. Prices on the cash markets are also still under pressure. This is also ensured by the ongoing rapeseed harvest in this country. Due to the delayed rapeseed harvest, growers are increasingly concerned about the quality of the plants ready for harvest. It is said that moisture levels rarely stay below 9 percent, forcing many farmers to incur drying costs. Despite the harvest, only a few new quantities are traded. On the one hand, farmers are cautious before the end of the harvest, on the other hand, oil mills in particular are well stocked. On the Canadian prairies, farmers are very happy with the current weather and growing conditions. Canola gave way accordingly on the ICE in Winnipeg.
