Rapeseed continued to recover on Friday and said goodbye to the weekend with solid gains. In Winnipeg, canola contracts were largely flat. The export volume for Canadian oilseed last week was slightly below the level of the previous week. Cumulatively, however, exports broke the 5 million ton mark. The soy complex failed to find a unified direction on Friday. While the front dates closed with a minus, the back dates just made it into the profit zone. The heatwave in parts of the US is not yet putting soy stocks at risk, so the bulls have not been able to take the lead. 164.68 million bushels were processed in June, surprising the somewhat more pessimistic market participants.
