Record-breaking soybean harvest in Brazil puts pressure on futures prices

Chicago soybean futures continue to decline this morning as top exporter Brazil faces a near-record harvest, although there are still concerns about the recent drought that may affect yields.
Wheat futures are gaining ground again, while corn prices remain unchanged.
Soybean growers in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso started harvesting. This marks an early start to a bumper harvest with a potential production of over 140 million tons.
Drought in parts of the country had propped up prices earlier this week, but the weather forecast now promises better chances of rain.
