Record exports in Brazil

There was no trading on the soybean market yesterday. Because of Independence Day, the CBoT was closed like all other stock exchanges in the country. The news situation therefore increasingly focused on South America. The grain exchange in Buenos Aires recorded a harvest of 21 million tons in its soybean balance sheet, less than half of what was harvested the previous year. The government estimates the economic damage from the failed harvest at over 20 billion US dollars. In return, the very large crop in Brazil is sold well on the world market. In June, the country was able to export around 13.8 million tons of beans, 40 percent more than in June of the previous year. This also set the previous record value for June of 12.7 million tons in 2021. With day trading today, the CBoT will reopen.
