Wheat futures ended trading in Paris with slight gains. The May date recorded an increase of 2.25 euros/ton to 277.25 euros/ton. In Chicago, the scoreboards were green on Friday night. On the one hand, many market participants used the price correction of the past few days to re-enter the market. On the other hand, the bullish market environment pulled prices. The tensions between Ukraine and Russia also persist and are thus providing additional impetus. In Argentina, USDA analysts expect wheat production to grow to a record 21.8 million tons. The Egyptian tender with a volume of 420,000 tons was covered with goods from Ukraine, Russia and Romania.
