There is currently little news on the pig market. The situation in the slaughterhouses is increasingly affecting trade. This was also evident on the Internet pig exchange, where none of the lots offered found buyers. The effects of the limited capacities are also noticeable in the slaughter figures (North-West region 537,735 animals slaughtered) and show a clear deficit compared to the previous year (- 53,356 animals slaughtered). At today's Internet Pig Exchange, none of the 1120 pigs offered were sold in 7 batches.
