The quantities offered on the pig market in this country are hardly sufficient to meet the needs of the slaughterhouses. Again and again, higher prices for the animals can be achieved, especially for short-term deliveries. The destocking of pigs is now clearly noticeable in the low live stocks. The current development was also reflected in today's Internet pig exchange, where the lots traded have a significantly higher average price. Accordingly, an attractive VEZG listing is expected. At today's Internet pig market, of a total of 3163 pigs offered in 21 lots, 1753 pigs in 12 lots were sold at an average price of 1.78 euros/kg SG in a range of 1.71 to 1.87 euros.
