Above all, the slowly beginning preparations for Easter and the holiday season are currently causing demand to continue to rise. The existing supply of live animals is also still small, so that free lots can be marketed quickly. At today's pig exchange, an average price of 2.00 euros/kg SG was achieved. The required minimum price was not reached for the lots that were not traded. At today's Internet pig market, of a total of 1910 offered pigs in 13 lots, 1110 pigs in 8 lots were sold at an average price of 2.00 euros/kg SG in a range of 1.95 to 2.035 euros.
