Result: Internet pig market - minimum prices too high

Little is currently happening on the pig market. The slaughterhouses complain that trade in the meat market is sluggish and that higher price demands cannot be enforced, but this does not detract from the marketing of pigs ready for slaughter. These continue to find buyers quickly, which is mainly due to the unchanged low supply. At today's pig exchange, some batches did not find buyers because the required minimum prices were not reached. A stable price level is expected for tomorrow's listing. At today's auction of the Internet Schweinebörse, 1,520 pigs in 10 lots sold a total of 160 pigs in 1 lot at an average price of 2.56 €/kg (that's -2 cents compared to the auction on Friday). The trading range was 2.56 to 2.56 euros/kg.
