The Ukraine will increase its sunflower and soybean crop due to an expansion of areas and good income in 2016. This is today's assessment by UkrAgroConsult.
The sunflower crop could rise from 11.5 million tonnes in 2105 to 12.4 million tonnes this year, while the Sojabohnenerste to 4.4 million tonnes, according to 3.9 million tons in the previous year.
The rape seed area was restricted in 2016, however, and it is expected a harvest volume of 1.27 million tonnes. There were 1.74 million tons in 2015.
