Russia attacks Danube ports

Wheat rose on Euronext/Matif yesterday. The December contract rose by 3.75 euros/t to 237.50 euros/t. Wheat prices were boosted primarily by new attacks by Russia on Ukrainian grain infrastructure. The attacks are primarily aimed at Danube ports. This uses When it comes to the grain agreement, there was an announcement from Russia that Russia will provide 1 million tons of wheat for distribution to Turkey in order to supply African countries in particular. There are increasing inquiries about feed quality from Dutch buyers at the local markets. Local concentrated feed plants continue to operate on sight. Wheat on the CBoT also rose on news of the attacks in Ukraine. US winter wheat sowing has started, but is lagging behind last year's pace.
