Russia's Agriculture Minister proposes a new method of calculation for a wheat export tax. This proposal must be approved by the Parliament, but it remains.
The proposal foresees that the exporters pay a ruble per wheat of ton of, as soon as a price of 11,000 rubles per tonne fob ($218,2 / to) exceeds. The calculation is as follows: wheat reached a price of 11,000 rubles per tonne, exporters on the difference in price would pay customs if the half price a 5,500 rubles minus positive value.
If Parliament should agree to this, this regulation replaces a rate of at least €35 / tonne, regarded since February until the 15.05.2015, to stabilize food prices in Russia, which had driven the inflation in the country due to a massive depreciation of the ruble.
