Russia's agricultural Sovecon consultancy has increased its forecast for Russia's Getreidernte 2016 to 107 million metric tons from previously 105.4 million tonnes. The forecast of the Russian wheat harvest increased from 61.1 million tons to 64 million tonnes.
The forecast of Sovecon is currently 35 million tons for Russia's grain exports 2016/17. Included are 25 million tons of wheat. The 2016/17 marketing year begins on 1 July. Yesterday the Russian consulting firm ICAR and the Russian Ministry of agriculture released their forecasts for the Gereideernte 2016.
