Russia could harvest forecasts of the Russian consulting firm SovEcon 95 million metric tons of grain this year. In the previous forecast, it was a result of 90.5 million tonnes. The official forecast of the Russian Ministry of agriculture is located at 100 million tons. Last year, 105 million tons of grain were harvested.
The Russian export potential by 2015/16 grain estimates SovEcon to 25.5 million tons (2014/15: 31 million tons. The forecast of the Russian wheat harvest is 54 million tonnes (previous year: 60 million tons.)
