Russia plans to export 500,000 tonnes of grain (wheat and barley) to China in 2016, said the Russian Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev last Saturday. Negotiating also for meat deliveries.
Grain deliveries should be made about a trading hub in Siberia that is to have a handling capacity of first 2-3 million tons per year. The construction of the hub's will started in September and to grain turn in the final stage of up to eight million tonnes per annum.
