Russian wheat prices for export following the weaker prices of Paris MATIF. Forward prices for Black Sea wheat with 12.5% protein in Russia cost in the last week of $190 per tonne fob, $4 per tonne less than in the week before. For $191 per tonne, Russian exporters have been the bulk of Egypt to secure tenders.
The IKAR consulting firm reported that Russia in the current marketing period has exported the record amount of 30 million tons of grain. Included are 21.3 million tons of wheat. The amount includes also the export of 700,000 tonnes of wheat to Kazakhstan.
The Russian Ministry of agriculture in the past week guess that the next harvest will be 100 million tons of grain, 5 million tons less than in the previous year. SovEcon, however, believes in a lot of harvest (including the Crimea) of 95 million tonnes, of which 54 million tons to be wheat.
