Saudi Arabia is looking for 595,000 tonnes of durum wheat

Saudi Arabia's state grain purchaser SAGO has tendered an international tender for the purchase of 595,000 tonnes of durum wheat (12.5% protein content) of optional origin. The offer period ends tomorrow.
360,000 tonnes are destined for the port in Jeddah, 180,000 tonnes for the port in Dammam and 55,000 tonnes for the port in Jizan.
Lastly, on 16 July, Sago bought 625,000 tonnes of wheat for delivery in September and in October. The purchase of 1.5 million tonnes of feed barley was also reported on Monday.
Due to a diplomatic dispute between Saudi Arabia and Canada, Sago currently does not buy wheat or barley from Canada.
