The wheat prices in Chicago are rising again this morning for the second consecutive day, as investors use the low prices to buy, even though the high global supply situation prevents higher price increases.
There are some short covers and bargain purchases in the wheat market, an Indian commodity analyst wants to know. Experts are trying to quantify the damage to the US winter grain. US winter cereals have been exposed to dry conditions for many months.
However, wheat producers in the Black Sea region, currently the most important supplier region in the world, will again be able to fall back on a large harvest this year.
