Sixth flash sale in a row at Soja

Soybeans were little changed on Friday. Overall, the majority of contracts increased slightly. The continued dry weather forecast in the Corn Belt and large parts of the Midwest provided price support. The sixth flash sale in a row also supported trading. The USDA reported a sale of 198,000 tons of beans to a buyer of unknown origin. The beans come from the new 2023/24 harvest. Weaker soybean meal prices on the CBoT had a negative impact on beans, but soybean oil could increase overall in a friendly market environment for vegetable oils. The CBoT will be closed today due to a public holiday; the monthly processing report is expected later this week.
