Despite the last two days of slaughter missing, the range of pigs ready for slaughter in Germany is mostly manageable this week. The animals on offer can usually be set down quickly. In some regions, however, there is talk of an overall calm demand. Some slaughterhouses have built up pressure in recent days and have also threatened house prices. However, a fairly small offer is expected in the coming week, so that ultimately an unchanged listing was agreed. The meat trade in Germany continues to cause problems. The lack of sales channels in the catering sector as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and the slowdown in export are causing great financial difficulties for traders. Due to the ban on the meeting, the impulses that can be expected from the grill segment as the temperature rises could be manageable. As in the past few weeks, the trade in pork across Europe is causing problems, especially as the lack of slaughter days has resulted in overhangs in slaughter pigs.
