After the panicky sales from the fatteners last week, the range of pigs ready for slaughter is now back to normal. This week supply and demand are balanced again.
After the demand from the catering trade collapsed in the Corona crisis and the resulting political measures, the consumer gets meat from the food retailers. In the meantime, however, the peak of demand from the food retail sector seems to have been exceeded. There are not quite as many hamster purchases anymore. Now shipments to China are increasing again.
The butchers quickly call up the quantities of pigs ready for slaughter.
