In Canada, canola futures could not stay in the green either and fell slightly. Profit-taking and the lack of guidelines from the European environment put a strain on retail. The soy complex found no clear direction on Tuesday. The contracts closed trading with slight gains. Due to the drought in Brazil, many market participants expect significantly worse production prospects. The agricultural agency Conab also adjusted its forecast and reduced the harvest to 140.5 million tons (-2.2 million tons).
