On the Euronext/Matif, the rapeseed contracts went into the weekend more firmly. Firmer prices have recently also been seen on the cash markets. Rapeseed meal is also traded at a premium compared to last week. In the official harvest report, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture expects a German rapeseed harvest of 4.25 million tons. The Ministry's figures are thus higher than those of the German Farmers' Association (4.08 million t) and the German Raiffeisen Association (4.0 million t). Soy rose very significantly on Friday. Reports from the consulting company Pro Framer also provided a boost. This expects a slightly lower area yield than the USDA. The weather forecast for the coming days is very different for the growing areas. While the southern areas are likely to get a little more precipitation, it is rather dry in the eastern and northern growing areas.
