The soybean stocks in China are now reported by the local authority as 4.26 million tons (as of May 6). At the end of March it was 3.31 million tons, the lowest stock since the end of 2010.
Soybean meal reserves are reported at 185,500 tons. The historic low was reported on April 19.
China's soybean needs are still affected by African swine fever. Now the farmers want to rebuild their livestock with massive government support.
