Soybean: No. 1 Brazil's growing country has ordered already 68% of the area

Seeding of soybean in the core area of Brazilian soy bean cultivation in Mato Grosso has already completed to 67.7%. 25.5% of the planned acreage have been ordered within a week. Thus, an early harvest is likely there.
End of October 2015, 38% of the planned soybean areas in Mato Grosso were appointed. Sowing is now back but still by a few percentage points behind the of the year 2013/14, as end of October were appointed to 71.1% of the area. At that time, but the acreage was overall less than now.
Last year, the farmers had problems with a long-lasting drought. In the last few days, the rain offers best conditions for an optimal start of the season. But, Association representatives warned that an early harvest January would fall in the months up to March in the wettest months of the year. If it rains then much, the quality is expected or suffer from less falling yields.
Some farmers have chosen varieties that have a longer growing season, in order to avoid these risks. The growing seasons of soybean in Brazil vary depending on the type of between 100 and 120 days.
