The French consulting firm Strategy Grains today lowered its harvest estimate for EU rapeseed from 17.85 to 17.59 million tons.
The new estimate is 4.1% higher than the actual harvest in 2019 when 16.89 million tons were brought in. But that was also the smallest harvest in 13 years.
In the previous forecast, the experts had already had to correct their numbers downwards from 18.05 to 18.85 million tons.
