The French analyst strategy of grains has left unchanged its forecast of this year's EU wheat production. It is located at 146.7 million tons. That would be a decline of 3% to the record harvest by 2015, when 151 million tons of wheat were harvested.
There are however significant shifts to watch. While one for Germany and France due to the heavy rainfall in the past month sees a decrease in the wheat harvest to a total of 1.3 million tonnes, these quantities by bigger harvests in Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and Italy can be absorbed completely, so strategy of grains.
The possible worse qualities, as well as greater exports from Russia could lead 2016/17 from 29.9 million tonnes to an export volume (- 800,000 tons). More rain predicted for the next few days, could further weaken the quality of stocks.
Strategy of grains increased the forecast the EU barley harvest 2016 to 1.1 million tonnes in addition to 62.6 million tonnes. Increased earnings forecasts for Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Spain are fundamental. The Outlook for France, Great Britain and the Slovakia were reduziet.
In maize, the forecast to 500,000 tonnes was reduced to 62.2 million tons - mainly due to smaller crops in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria and the Slovakia.
