Syria is looking for 150,000 tons of wheat for delivery to the Iran

The State grain Agency in Syria has announced an international inquiry after 150,000 tonnes of wheat. The payment should be from a credit line by the Iran for Syria. The bidding ends on June 16.
According to a report of the news agency of Reuters in February this year, Syria has itself no import demand for wheat because the grain harvest was exceptionally well. But Syria has a credit line of $1Mrd. by the Iran for the procurement of raw materials, from which one can conclude that the wheat for consumption in the Iran should be.
The offers for wheat are to be directed to a Syrian institution of grain traders and should be based on c & f and in euro. Food supplies in the Iran are affected not by the trade sanctions of Western industrial Nations, but dealers report that there had been difficulties in financing grain supplies again.
