Third ASF case in China's Liaoning province in one week

Today, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture has again to report a case of African swine fever (ASF).
Liaoning Province is located in northeastern China, where eleven pigs died and 20 others were infected near Dalian City on a farm with 1,353 pigs.
The series of ASF outbreaks in China does not appear to be eroding and concerns are growing that the spread in the world's largest herd of pigs is unstoppable.
Again, the authorities have stopped the transport of live pigs and pig products. It is the third ASF case in this region in a week.
