The analyst UkrAgroConsult has increased its forecast of Ukrainian grain harvest 2016 to 62.7 million metric tons (1.7 million tons compared to the previous month). The increase in the forecast was mainly due to record income in the summer grain and larger wheat and barley crops. The prognosis for Ukrainian wheat harvest was to 26 million tons (last month: 25 million tonnes) increased, the barley to 9.6 million tonnes (last month: 9.0 million tonnes).
2016/17 of Ukraine's grain export potential is 40.7 million tons (2015/16: 38.5 million tons) according to estimates of the analysts.
