The Ukrainian analyst UkrAgroConsult has reduced its forecast of Ukrainian grain exports for 2017/18 from 42.3 to 42.0 million tonnes. Due to the delay in barley sowing, the analyst expects to produce 300,000 tons of small barley.
A harvest of 2018 is expected to amount to 7.7 - 8.0 million tonnes of barley.
