The Ukrainian government will advise and decide with major country traders on wheat export quotas for the 2020/21 season in July. Wheat stocks are currently around 1.5 - 2.0 million tons higher than a year ago. At the time, an export quota of up to 20.2 million tons of wheat was set for the 2019/20 season.
At a briefing on television, Economics Minister Ihor Petrashko said the government had been monitoring the situation with corn exports, but no corrective action was needed at that time.
