Ukraine advises on export quota in July

The Ukrainian government will advise and decide with major country traders on wheat export quotas for the 2020/21 season in July. Wheat stocks are currently around 1.5 - 2.0 million tons higher than a year ago. At the time, an export quota of up to 20.2 million tons of wheat was set for the 2019/20 season.
At a briefing on television, Economics Minister Ihor Petrashko said the government had been monitoring the situation with corn exports, but no corrective action was needed at that time.
The government had said it was considering limiting corn exports, but decided against the idea.
