Ukraine is considering export restrictions on wheat

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Affairs has proposed to limit wheat exports to 20.2 million tons for the July 2019 to June 2020 season, the analyst APK-Inform said on Friday.
Ukraine has already exported 17.73 million tons of wheat, according to data from the ministry.
The ministry had announced earlier on Friday that state-owned companies would sell 128,000 tonnes of wheat flour on the local market to curb a price surge caused by fears of the rapid spread of the corona virus.
