Ukraine is currently not planning a review of the recent export memorandum

A senior official of the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture announced today that it is not planned to review the memorandum passed last week between traders and the government.
Unfavorable weather in spring and summer in Ukraine results in bad wheat qualities. According to traders, the share of milling wheat is below 45%.
The extreme dryness in spring and heavy rainfall during the harvest increased the share of feed wheat in the northern regions to more than 70%.
Overall, traders estimate the share of milling wheat at 40 - 45%. Last year it was 55%.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture agreed last week with the country's grain traders that a maximum of 16 million tonnes of wheat will be exported this season (July 18-June 19), including 8 million tonnes of milling wheat.
Ukraine expects a wheat harvest of 24 million tons this year and the ministry expects a share of milling wheat of 13 million tons.
Last year, Ukraine exported 17.2 million tonnes of wheat, including 10 million tonnes of milling wheat.
