Grain exports from Ukraine have been reported as 41.7 million tons in this marketing year from July 1, 2019 to the present day. That is 24% more than in the previous season.
According to the Ministry of Economy in Kiev, wheat exports come to 16.7 million tons, corn exports to 20.4 million tons and barley exports to four million tons.
In 2019, 75.1 million tons of grain were harvested in Ukraine, in 2018 it was 70 million tons.
The Black Sea region could export 52-55 million tons of grain throughout the marketing year, including 19-20 million tons of wheat. A harvest of 65-70 million tons is expected in 2020, of which 40 million tons would then be exported, according to the government.
