Ukraine exports 32.5% more grain in the 2019/20 season

The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture estimates that grain exports from the country will increase by 32.5% to 30 million tons in the 2019/20 season (July-June). Corn and wheat exports in particular will increase significantly.
Wheat exports will therefore be 4.2 million tons higher and reach 14.6 million tons. In addition, 3.7 million tons of barley and 11.4 million tons of corn will be exported.
Ukraine harvested 74 million tons of grain in 2019. In 2018, the figure was 70 million tons.
