Ukraine: Grain export prices have remained stable in recent weeks

The export prices for Ukrainian wheat and corn remained almost unchanged in the last week due to the improved prospects for the 2021 harvest, the agricultural consultancy APK-Inform announced on Monday.
Last month, high demand from importers and concerns about a delay in sowing winter wheat pushed the export prices for milling wheat in Ukraine to the highest level in the past two seasons.
Ukrainian wheat prices for 12.5% Black Sea protein were trading at $ 252-256 per tonne of Black Sea FOB late last week, the consultancy said in a report.
For the 11.5% wheat, prices ranged between US $ 250 and US $ 252 per ton of FOB.
According to APK-Inform, corn cost between $ 231 and $ 236 per ton of FOB.
Ukraine, one of the world's largest wheat producers and exporters, plans to export 17.5 million tons of wheat from July to June in the 2020/21 season.
The country, which also accounts for around 16% of global grain exports, sold around 57 million tons of grain to foreign buyers in the 2019/20 season.
