Ukrainian grain exports in the current 2019/20 season (July - June) have so far reached a volume of 40.1 million tons. They are 23% higher than exports at the same time in the 2018/19 season. Wheat exports reached a volume of 16.5 million tons. Ukraine has also exported over 4 million tons of barley and 19.1 million tons of corn.
75.1 million tons of grain were harvested last year, in 2018 it was 70 million tons.
In the marketing year 2018/19, a total of 49.9 million tons of grain were exported, including 15.6 million tons of wheat, 3.7 million tons of barley and 29.8 million tons of corn. The Ministry of Agriculture expects wheat exports of up to 20 million tons for the current season.
