Ukrainian grain exports during the current 2017/18 marketing period currently reach a volume of 30 million tonnes, 8.5% less than exports in the 2016/17 marketing year, when 32.8 million tonnes of grain were exported. So far, 13.9 million tons of wheat, 11.8 million tons of corn and more than 4 million tons of barley have been exported, reports the Ministry of Agriculture. Last year, 61.3 million tonnes of grain were harvested in Ukraine. In 2016, the previous record result of 66 million tonnes was achieved. This season, 41 million tons of grain could be exported.
