Ukraine has so far exported almost 24.8 million tons of grain in the current 2021/22 season (July to June), 18% more than the 21 million tons at the same stage a year earlier, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture.
The amount included 14.3 million tons of wheat, 4.9 million tons of barley and 5.2 million tons of corn.
Ukraine plans to harvest a record 80.3 million tons of grain in 2021, compared to 65 million tons in 2020. Exports could rise from 44.7 million tons in the 2020/21 marketing year to 61.5 million tons. Tons increase.
The government announced that grain exports could include 24.5 million tons of wheat, 30.9 million tons of corn and 5.2 million tons of barley.
Last season, 23.1 million tons of corn, 16.6 million tons of wheat and 4.2 million tons of barley were harvested in Ukraine.
